Fortunately both are vaccinated. So there’s a chance one or both can play this weekend…but no Chubb and no Hunt would fucking blow.

Kelly tested positive too. So Johnson is currently our only back. Hopefully both Felton and Chubb end up being able to play

Last time we had no Chubb and no Hunt, D’Ernest Johnson rushed for 146 yards (against the Broncos). I am not sure we can expect lightning in a bottle for a second time but it definitely is possible.

There is also the possibility that Chubb and Felton could both play Sunday. They just need 2 negative tests taken 24 hours apart.

The problem arises if Chubb, Felton and Kelly are all out. Then we’ve no one to rest Johnson.

Huge fan of Johnson, I’m so glad we kept him for another season. He could start for a lot of teams.

He just doesn’t have the acceleration and breakaway speed of Chubb, nor the elite route-running and hands of Hunt. He can definitely keep the defense honest and put up 100 yards any day, he’s just not a threat to take over a game.

Hope he proves me wrong, there!

Plus, as stated above he’ll be sans backup.
