This league will humble lackadaisical effort real quick. Talent will get you a pass for a short time if you have top tier talent, but even that only goes so far.

Corey Coleman is finding that out. Honestly, it’s a shame to see it too because Coleman does have talent. He just has a shit work ethic. You can’t dog it all week and think that you can just stroll onto the field on Sunday, flip the switch and dominate.

He passed through waivers without being claimed. Not surprising.

Pretty sad for a dude still on a rookie contract. He can hang out with Johnny 8-ball and Justin Gilbert. Guys who were given everything but too lazy to take it.

I guess he’ll be selling off his shoe collection before too long.

Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

    “Start me or trade me.”

    Lol

I wonder if he tried that BS in Buffalo too.

You know what the most telling part of all this is?

By trading for him and then cutting him, Buffalo is on the hook for his $3.5 million cap hit. Certainly not astronomical, but in the world of NFL front offices and roster building, $3.5 million is a lot of cap space that could be used on a player that’s making plays and having an impact on your team. That they were willing to absorb that cap hit and still cut him after only a week and a half speaks volumes to what the Bills thought of him.

They waited too long….should have traded after he dropped the last pass last season.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

Serious question; Some players get fed too much entitlement by their college programs. How do you fix that? If their college HC’s lie about their work ethic to NFL teams or cover for them who is really responsible? Guys like Coleman have enough God-given talent to win at the college level without hard work. For whatever reason, their college coaches let that go. Shit we even heard that Johnny 8-ball ignored and then shouted down one of his coaches in the middle of a practice. “Oh he’s just super competitive.” No, he’s a heaping pile of entitled shit.

I think a lot of our drafting problems during the Sashi regime come from the fact that he (as a lawyer) does not have great relationships with a lot of college coaches so they may not have given him the low down on these guys.

I heard that the Bills didn’t like his attitude the day he walked in the door.

Dorsey looks to me like he is getting rid of bad locker room guys and also willing to take chances on some guys with off the field issues.

Coleman is talented but clearly lost whatever work ethic he had and now is unemployed. I still think he can salvage a career if he chooses by going to Canada & proving he has matured but that could take s few years.

Coleman was just signed by the Patriots.

Yes. Good luck there. I’m sure you’ll fit right in.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Coleman just took Britt’s roster spot.
