Mary Kay also said Depodesta is running the search. Not surprising. What will be a surprise is if anything good happens to this team in the next 3 years. It’s funny that the guys we’re really hoping choose us (Stephanski, McCarthy) were guys that we spurned last year.
At this point, I could see them bringing back Berry, making him GM and hiring Stefanski. That wouldn’t surprise me.
Actually, with Haslam, absolutely nothing would surprise me.
This sets the tone. If we miss the playoffs next year we need to get Depodesta fired and we should band together to work on getting NFL owners to force Haslam to sell. They have the power. Anything less than playoffs is unacceptable

If it’s true that he was against Hue and Kitchens, than I support him running the search, lol.
That said, sounds like a lot of people are against Kevin Stefanski, but he may be my preferred choice at the moment. He runs the Kyle Shanahan offense that leans on running and play action, and I think The players we have, specifically Baker, would thrive in that system.
Depo running the search could just mean he is doing the secretarial work of calling folks and lining up interviews and ironing out the logistics of setting up the meetings with the owners.

Depodesta has one of the best hiring pitches in the world: “We’ll give you a four year contract, and you’ll only have to work for two years.”. Who wouldn’t take that?
