That 1st round pick just got more valuable.

I just jumped on here to literally post the exact same thing (including the value of our #1 pick increasing)

I never root for injuries, and I like Watson and wanted him in the draft, and I have no ill will for Houston.

But, it does feel good to know we won’t have to hear for awhile about how bad the Browns messed up by not drafting Watson.at least there’s that.

And when that’s the highlight of your season, you know you’re in a dark place.

In regards to us. I found it humorous that Colts were up 20-16 with 2 seconds left. Houston had the ball inside the 10. Savage drops back to pass — Jabaal Sheard strip sack and Barkevious Mingo recovery. Colts win.

Humorous doesn’t begin to describe…wow. This is by far the most Browns week ever.

I noticed that too. Probably the play that helped the Browns the most in Mingo’s entire career.

Been meaning to point this out all week, and this seems as good a place as any to do it.

Any time the Browns failures at picking a qb have been brought up, it’s always quickly followed by some variation of: “yeah, but (Wentz, Watson, etc.) wouldn’t be nearly as good in Cleveland”

Well, I️ always call Bull to this. Look at Houston with Watson and last week with Savage. They scored over 30 in 5 straight games, the. Only put up 14 against THE COLTS with Savage. That’s how big a difference a franchise qb makes.

So, yeah the Browns offense looks like shit, but so does Houston’s without Watson. It’s not like qbs are leaving Cleveland and tearing it up, and thy just couldn’t succeed in Cleveland. Hoyer and Weeden have been given chances, and they’ve been the same players for other teams that they were for the Browns.

We just haven’t seen a franchise qb in Cleveland in decades. I️ don’t think it’s a qb graveyard, it’s just that we pick shitty qbs.
