Just announced, Browns cut Devaroe Lawrence to make room for Ogunjobi, who’s coming back after his one game suspension.
Anybody have an explanation for this? He seemed like a solid player to me, I just don’t get it. There had to be other spots to make cuts.
November 26, 2019 at 4:16 pm #17265IceKeymasterI don’t have one. I’ve been looking, waiting for an explanation from the team.

Nothing has been confirmed, so speculation is all it is. This comes as a shock to me because Lawrence was one of Freddie’s favorite non-starters, and he has been rather productive. That and the fact that we’re a bit thin on the D-line in terms of numbers (without Miles Garrett for the remainder of the season) makes this move even more perplexing. This could be an example of John Dorsey tinkering with the bottom half of the 53 man roster. I don’t know if he’s eligible to be re-signed to the practice squad or not, but my guess is that he is not. I wish him well in his endeavors to pursue his career in the NFL.
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!
