Sheldrick Redwine and J.T. Hassell are the safetys on the roster. So maybe you could say we don’t have a single starting caliber safety on the roster.

I think the plan is to sign Scott Hatteberg to play safety.

Murray and Burress don’t exactly scream “Superbowl”. Burress was struggling just to be on a roster earlier in the season, but played his way into a full time NFL backup job with his play. He may be a starter eventually.

They don’t and you’re right. While we added a couple good pieces to the offense yesterday, we seem to be majorly neglecting key parts of the defense. Safety and LB. that’s a huge concern. It’s t same thing we’ve done since 1999. Running on ice
