Long, lean, athletic, and bends the corner well. Sanders has all the traits of high 1st round edge rusher. The thing is his technique and production are so so. So he falls to the back end of the 1st round.

CLE 52. Alec Pierce
WR Cincinnati 6-3 213
Pierce is a guy that just competes at a high level and just plays with a hard nosed physicallity. His play and attitude remind of Celtic Legend Larry Bird. He will tell what he is gonna do, go do it and then talk some serious trash. And then rinse and repeat.

CLE 84. Sevyn Banks
CB Ohio State 6-1 200
Better athlete than football player. Banks has all the physical tools to be a 1st round CB. What he lacks is technique and fundamentals. But hey thats what they make couches for.

CLE 103. Sterling Weatherford
S to LB Miami-Oh 6-4 224
Weatherford plays tight ends very well and has lined up all over for the Red Birds. In the Brongs scheme he would be and OLB though. His versatility to blitz off the edge, stuff the run and play coverage makes him and ideal convert to LB IMO. He is my attempt thru multiple mock draft to find the hybrid player to fill in at the 2nd level for Joe Woods D.

CLE 122. Travis Jones
DT Connecticut 6-5 330
Big NT that that can also play a little 3 tech in a pinch. Jones along with McDowell would keep the middle a no mans land run game wise as well as keep the LB’s clean.

CLE 162. Charlie Kolar
TE Iowa State 6-6 260
A fierce run blocking TE that is a good safety valve and red zone target.

CLE 199. Micah McFadden
LB Indiana 6-2 230
A sidline to side line mike backer that may or may not be a 2 down player do to coverage skills.

CLE 221. Kyle Philips
WR UCLA 5-11 195
The Bruins version of a slot machine and the number one reason Felton had to switch to RB to get playing time at UCLA. As Phillips beat him out. Quicker than fast, precise and physical for size, Phillips reminds me a lot of all the Patriots slot recievers of the past decade and a half.
