Well, there’s two ways to look at that. #1, most players have enormous freaking egos, so all of those players are going to be saying to themselves “he’s not talking about me” while agreeing with him.
The other way is even simpler: Don’t fucking suck. Don’t go 0-13. Make some plays that actually lead to wins. If you don’t like being called “not a real player”, perhaps you should actually play then.
I have zero problem with what he said.
