Guys line up borderline neutral zone all the time. it doesn’t ever get called unless it is obnoxious.

On a day where we didn’t turn the ball over even one single time, we should do a lot better than we did. There’s no excuse at all for the defense to allow 35 points. There’s no excuse at all for the offense to only put up 10 points. I don’t care if the refs were employed by the Cowboys, I still expect our players to do better than they did.
Being at the game, my biggest thing I notice was the defense gave me the feel like they just quit. Like no tackling. Tackling was so poor it may me vomit in my mouth.

You act like we’re the ’85 Bears on defense and the Montana 49’ers on offense “If they’d just call it straight”.
Do we get hosed on some calls? Yes. But so does every other team in this league every week. It’s one of the things we were discussing in the other thread about fixing the NFL’s issues. It’s bullshit, I get it, and it’s there.
But this team fucking suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. A hold here, a hold there, a blown call on that side and a missed call on the other, makes a difference in a 21-17 game. That’s when we can should and will be griping bitching and moaning about the refs.
But this wasn’t that kind of game. A team light years ahead of us in talent just came in here and had there way with us up and down the field for 60 minutes straight. We were outplayed, outmatched, outhustled, outclassed smacked stomped beaten bloodied run-over mauled wrecked rocked destroyed and pummeled.
Do you really, really think a “well that’s bullshit” call here or there made or would have made any difference whatsoever in this game? Can you say that with a straight face? They could hae given us the ball at the 50 yard line the entire game and made Dallas take it from the 10, called it completely straight and we STILL would have lost by 3 touchdowns.
The problems not the refs, it’s the roster. I’m serious. Come on here guys, I’ve been BS’ing about football with most of you for-fucking-ever. Wild-and-out-there, crazy, stat happy, extreme, exaggerated, kool-aid drinking nutjobs that all of you are, you’re all genuinely smart fucking guys when it comes to football. You know your shit. You know it well and you have good eyes for various things. You know damn good and well that this is an absolutely awful, awful football team from top to bottom. We have at best a handful-at-best of players that would even sniff the field on just about any other team in the league.

No it wouldn’t have made any bit of difference. Again are some of these calls bullshit, of course they are. But it wouldn’t have made a difference in any way. Even if we got every call we’d still get rolled. That, is how bad we are. Good teams overcome bad calls. We’re a terrible, terrible team. The refs could call defensive holding for 8 straight plays, then play it straight for 3, and we’d still have to kick a field goal. They could call holding on the other team 3 straight times and make it 1st and 40, and they’d still get a 1st down. We’re that bad.

Never said they would’ve won without it but when 3 different holds occur on the same play and none are called you can’t be expected to do anything. When your WR is in the end zone and pushed out of bounds while the ball is in the air you can’t do anything. You can’t get better as a team when you aren’t allowed to play because the officials are blatantly cheating. I’m posses because it hinders our development.
We were literally called 3 times for lining up in the neutral zone when we werent. Their guy lines up in the exact same spot twice following that with no call.
It’s a hard enough game to play, but it’s twice as hard when teams have two sets of rules to play by. That bitch reference needs immediately fired. How she’s allowed near the sidelines, especially against us, is beyond me.

The refs didn’t cost us the game. That’s what Shooter and I are saying. The refs didn’t call holding on either team all day. It was clear they were happy to ignore that, but woe be unto the player whose nose hair is over the line of scrimmage. We saw what the refs wanted to call from our seats so the players should damn well know from standing right there next to them. When 91 lined up even before the ball was snapped I was thinking to myself ‘He’s way across the line of scrimmage, hope they don’t call it’. They called it. The very next play Cooper does the exact same thing (though not nearly as bad). You already know they’re looking for that, don’t give them the chance to call you on it!
But that didn’t change the outcome of the game one bit. We’re not going to win rushing for 3 yards per carry. We’re not going to win with only 40 snaps on offense. We’re not going to win with 222 yards of offense. And we certainly aren’t going to win when we let the other team waltz to 35 freaking points on us.
Again, I didn’t say they cost us the game. IT cost us development. On the coverage sack if Hawkins was wearing a tear away jersey it would’ve come off. You can’t let blatant holds go like that.

No, but in your original post the only goats you listed are the refs. You didn’t call out a single player or coach for this disaster.
