Parkey wasn’t a meltdown, it was a function of being on the field and practicing for the first time 10 minutes before the game. Should’ve never let him go

Offense – you must take advantage of takeaways. You must stop trying to outsmart people with a lead. Less than 5 minutes left no need to throw on 2nd and 6. Don’t run a reverse in Q4. Move the clock and move forward
Defense – can’t say “we did our job” while blowing coverage in the middle of the field for a 42 yard gain with a minute left in a tied game.
Special teams – learn to cover kicks. Learn to not get flagged on returns and learn to make a fucking kick.

Our defense played great. Two weeks in a row playing against 1st ballot HOFers and they stuffed them. It was clear just how important Ogbah and Kirksey are to this defense, but still the next man up was good enough. Props to them.
The job of the offense is to not fuck up and to stay on the field more than 3 plays. With Taylor at the helm we’re not gonna score 30 points. It would be good enough if we just don’t make mistakes.
Special teams is where we lost this game. ‘Teams has been atrocious this year. It needs to get fixed yesterday.
You know who I’m really pissed at after yesterday’s game? Todd Haley. That bomb on 4th and 5 turned out well, but it was a dumb call. Going big when you NEED a first down or it’s game over is dumb. It’s the shit he was let for in Pittsburgh, and he doesn’t learn. It worked yesterday, but it’s low percentage throw. The next time he calls that play, it’ll miss and everybody will be yelling about how dumb it was to call it.
