Refs ruled the timeout occurred before the offsides. He saw something he didn’t like so he called a timeout and then the defender jumped offsides. We blame Williams for this? I don’t. Would we be praising Williams if instead of a defender it was an O-lineman who jumped and the timeout saved us from a penalty? I wouldn’t. That’s luck.
It’s not the timeout he’s blamed for (well, it is) but rather the decision to still go for it after the timeout was called which allowed Denver to regroup.
That said, reading his take on it today – I have mad respect for him. His goal is to show the young team he wants them aggressive and I can’t fault him for that one.

His goal is to show the young team he wants them aggressive and I can’t fault him for that one.I dont know if you guys get a chance to stream music etc at work but about 2 everyday Gregg Williams has a press conference on 92.3 and I will say he has really impressed me. I liked him alot in hard knocks. He is a real coach. I think players really like him… He has expectations and he is very serious.
He said on Monday he is 4-2 but 2 of those games really bother him. He is working on what went wrong on how to grow with the team. Really like him.
I understand if they don’t make him the head coach…. But my expectations are really high on who is going to be the next head coach.
