I’ve actually heard the new STP is good live with Jeff Gutt singing. The album was surprisingly good. I saw them with Scott multiple times and each time but 1 they were incredible. The other time they really sucked

Also…………I haven’t heard STP without Scott Weiland, but if I’m being honest I don’t see him as being the type of lead singer you can’t replace. At least voice-wise. I’ll agree that he drove the band but it’s not like he had this amazing, iconic voice. He’s not Axel Rose or Steven Tyler or some shit where if they were to go away the band is either done or drastically different in a Van Halen Dave/Sammy kinda way.
There’s probably a lot of people who could sing those songs just as well as Weiland did.
