Back on topic, ESPN is reporting that not only did the Jets have him ranked #1, but the Patriots were considering moving up to #2 to draft him.
Apparently as many teams had him as the #1 QB as Darnold. If you guys love stats (and I know a few of you do) then Mayfield is far and away the best QB of the group. Here’s one I found very interesting: For throws that traveled over 20 yards through the air Mayfield’s completion percentage is 20% HIGHER than any of the other top 5 QB’s in that draft.

College was one incident after another off the field. On-field he was lazy, uncoachable and flashing money signs everywhere.
