DawgstyleParticipantHOW DO WE TAKE A STEP FORWARD THIS YEAR?
When you’re standing on the edge of a cliff, you don’t if you want to survive.
818 mph. 13,723 feet. 3 second burn.

IceKeymasterI don’t see any stepping forward this year. Maybe the Pats make some clerical error that makes Tom Brady a free agent and we sign him.

ShooterModeratorThere is no way whatsoever to take a step forward this year.
None. Not 1.
The only thing I can possibly think of is after the year is over not firing Hue Jackson and his entire staff along with the entire front office and starting all over again. Which, after going 1-15 or joining Detroit and Tampa Bay as the only winless teams in the history of the NFL, I don’t see happening. So, I just don’t see how there’s an answer to that question because I don’t think there is one.

soupParticipantThere’s always a way to step forward. Hue went freaking 8-8 with this:

Our roster is about as bad as theirs was. We’re just younger. Hue’s play calling this week will tell us a lot about his abilities as the head coach/OC. If we dumb it down – he’s got it. If we continue thinking we are the Bengals – we may have an issue.
