One of the really interesting things that came out of the Manziel interview with Joe Thomas and Andrew Hawkins is that Manziel said that Hue told Haslam he would only take the job if he could cut Manziel. Before Hue signed on, Manziel believes that Haslam and Sashi were prepared to give him another chance.
Thank goodness for Hue. Even @dude has to like that.
Manziel also thinks he was sent out to play far too quickly, he didn’t even know how to read a defense when he first got out there. That just tells me how fucking awful a pick he was in the 1st round. Heisman winner who can’t read a defense? Did we not put him on the white board in our interviews? Did we not talk to his college coaches? What the fuck!
If you don’t consider polling the homeless to be “doing your due diligence,” than you just don’t understand football. He had their stamp of approval.
JFF DID have that money sign….so he at least had that going for him. Maybe that’s what he did in the interview.
Loser Hue Jackson doesnt deserve any credit but how bad of a loser he is.
Put this in perspective… Manziel has more wins than THE LOSER. Think about that…. Same shitty players, same team.
