He’s fucking awful. Butchering every name. How hard is Bitonio? It’s not like he’s mispronouncing the names of backups we’ve never heard of, these are starters on both teams. He took 5 swings at pronouncing Oruwariye and struck out. How about 5 minutes of prep before you call a game and learn how to pronounce names.
100% agree, that’s just disrespectful. Liked sit down, read through the roster with the production team, make notes on the names that trip you up. Takes maybe 10 minutes. Especially inexcusable for former players.
Lavar was awful and the lack of replays during the game was pathetic. Ive seen better announcers and replays watching HS football.
I think Lavar only sounded so bad because we’ve had so many national games. Remember a few years ago the Lavars of the world called every one of our games.
