mike barnesParticipantwant to see what the picks are one is this year and one is in 19′ so long as neither is the #33 or #35 this year I can live with it.

IceKeymasterEven worse, he’s an average player and a midget. There must be radiation in the Browns building. You build through the draft, not through trading those picks.
Average player? He averages over 1000 yards/year and also returns punts and kicks. He’s tough as nails over the middle (how he was used last season) but is even better deep threat. I’d say he’s the 2nd best WR available in free agency (even though he wasn’t a free agent). I’m pretty happy with this as long as he doesn’t Britt out.

mike barnesParticipantLandry was the #63 pick out of LSU in the 2014 NFL draft, arguably the top FA WR in this years FA WR group looks like our GM is going to make a big splash this off season.

mike barnesParticipantAdam Schefter is reporting the Browns are working on a long term deal as part of the trade.

GABrownsFanParticipantHave to see what the picks are, but right now I love this trade.

ShooterModeratorSoup you singlehandedly keep the drug trade going.
This is a fantastic, homerun trade for the Browns. Landry is a stud, and becomes a formidable weapon to pair with Josh Gordon. The Browns just became more dangerous.
I don’t know the details of the trade, but whatever they are I love it.

the dudeParticipantGood trade…. Soup would only trade for himself
Hue Jackson is a loser.

GABrownsFanParticipantWe sent Kizer to GB for Randall per Adam Schefter. Teams also swapped picks in fourth and fifth rounds of the draft.

GABrownsFanParticipantMore from Schefter: Neither of the picks for Landry are first or second rounders. Loving this trade even more!

soupParticipantI’m now fine with this trade. Per Mary K Cabot it’s a 4th this year and 7th next year

Did you think we gave up a 2nd and 3rd? This trade is a steal and you should be incredibly excited over this. Landry led the NFL in receptions last year at 112. The Browns receivers scored 7 TD’s all season, Landry scored 9. As Gordon is the stretch-the-defense deep threat with speed, Landry is the the perfect compliment to it as the sure-handed over the middle chain mover. The Browns front office just created a formidable WR duo for essentially a 4th round pick.
Fantastic work.

soupParticipantI thought it was going to be 2 2nds since he was tagged.

ShooterModeratorWell that’s a really dumb thought. You should really look into details before you flip your shit. That’s 2 trades where you lost your mind for no reason because you made shit completely up in your head instead of knowing facts and then raged about the imaginary alternate universe.
This was a brilliant move by the FO. You are dumb lol.

IceKeymasterEven worse, he’s an average player and a midget.
Andrew Hawkins: “He’s the hardest working receiver, maybe hardest working player in the NFL. All he’s done is set the record for receptions in the first 4 years of his career and go to 3 pro bowls.”
He’s also apparently the world’s tallest midget at 5’11”.

I’ve since listened to every episode, many twice. Of course, I’m a Toledo guy and they have a bunch of Toledo players on there, so that makes it even better for me.
But still, great show. Best part about them breaking down the trades was JT on the Shelton trade: “so, it’s a bag of footballs for Danny Shelton. They’re used footballs, but we got something.”
And yeah, and 2018 4th and 2017 7th for Landry?? We drove down to south beach, pulled them out of their car Vice City style, and robbed them.

IceKeymasterThe Thomahawk podcast is amazing. Any of you not listening to it are wasting your lives.
