ParticipantThis just sucks. Plain and simple. Probably his last snap he’ll play in a Browns uniform. Just sucks.

IceKeymasterI feel terrible. Many players admitted in interviews that they teared up a bit when he went down. He’s played through tons of injuries that would have ended careers of normal men. He is the iron man of the NFL. 10363 will never be broken, or even approached.
Half of me is so proud that he’s a Cleveland Brown, and the other half is sad that so much amazing talent was wasted on such terrible teams.

ParticipantYou know what the crazy thing to me is about Joe Thomas?? There was genuine concern about him being an injury risk when he came of college. He tore is ACL and missed his either junior or sophomore year, and many draft experts questioned how well he’d hold up in the pros.

IceKeymasterYou know the other crazy thing? This injury may be the only thing that keeps him on the Browns in 2018. After how they got rid of Joe Haden right under the coach’s noses and despite their objections I’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Rumors of trading JT before the deadline were already starting to pop up. He’d be worth a lot to the right team looking to make a superbowl run this year. Now that option is off the table.
