ParticipantWe have shit corners and one decent one who’s always injured – though excels with Horton. I say we kick the tires – we have the cap room and he’s a beast. Could solve a corner issue without a draft pick. I’m doubting they’ll even look at him due to price/age (though after playing in a Super Bowl I doubt he’d look at us) – but he’d be a damn fine addition.
Freedom!!!

ParticipantI wouldn’t mind seeing the move. But I doubt he is going to go from a superbowl team to the Browns just for cash.
He likely has BETTER situations in mind.
Like I said I like the idea but I don’t see him coming here. Nor do i see it fitting in with the moneyball analytics roster rebuild.

KeymasterWe’re going younger. If your goal is to win the Superbowl in 3 years, do you sign him? Especially considering his contract demands will be astronomic?

ModeratorHe’s good, but not worth it.
They let him go because he was asking for the moon. You think he’s gonna drop his #? No way.
Pass.

KeymasterHe should go to a ‘win now’ team. Saints might be a good fit.

At 29, there isn’t much more time than “now”.

KeymasterOr instead of a ‘win now’ team he could go to one of those teams where the owner is always looking to overspend on a vet even though
I’m sorry I lost my train of thought because I just saw an ad for Covergirl Star Wars makeup. Star Wars makeup.

ParticipantI would not have minded throwing a ton of money at Norman. Since we’re going to be building a young defense almost from scratch, having it bookended by two elite veteran corners would help the youth at safety and linebacker learn to be comfortable playing within their roles in a system.

ParticipantHe signed with the Redskins for insane cash money. Does that mean he’s only the latest player to fall into the Daniel Schneider funded abyss of Pro Bowl players that get paid and never make another one?
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!
