We’ve devoted a lot of pixels to discussions of the QB’s, I think it’s time we talk receivers. The talk is that there are 3 that are locks to go in the 1st round and that if you need a receiver, this is the draft to get one. Kevin White did himself a lot of favors today. Many of the questions raised about him involved his lack of top-end speed. Two 4.35 forties later those questions have been quashed. I think the only way we get him now would be to trade up into the top 5. Still there are a bunch of guys available that will end up getting drafted in the 1st. Amari Cooper and DeVanti Parker are also good enough to be drafted early. I’d rather see us grab one of these excellent guys that see us roll the dice on a QB who is nowhere near as good.
sorry been a long day – cooper was impressive at the combine – but I am really hesistant drafting guys that arent running back or defensive line / olb on great college programs. Parker was really impressive.
