That may be the nail in the coffin for Kitchens.

It should have been real obvious to anyone with an ounce of football knowledge that Kitchens wasn’t equipped to be a head coach.
The team lacked leadership and discipline. The play calling was horrible. Mayfield regressed a great deal this year.
The defense was horrible for a good portion of the season. Very few players can even tackle properly. Ward is one of them even though he is a good cover corner, I have seen too many times where he doesn’t even attempt to use his arms when tackling.
Player committed too many pre and post snap penalties. Both Landry and Beckham acted like they won the lottery when getting a first down and got penalized for unsportmanlike conduct. That is a direct reflection of the coach and the lack of discipline and leadership on the team.
