Walking naked in the middle of the night near a school, then attacked the deputy who confronted him.
I’ll hazard a guess we won’t be seeing him back. Unfortunately our defensive line has gone from vest in the league to a weakness in a few weeks.
Why us? Dude lost his fucking mind. That’s a big hit to our defensive line and since it looks like we’re retaining our DC it’s a huge hit to our defense since we rarely rush more than 4.
Dude apparently had a very normal workout at his neighborhood gym, then just walked out of the locker room and onto the street nude and all this happened.
Apparently he sustained a massive head injury in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, maybe he’s just taken one too many hits to the head since then. If that’s the case I’m just glad he didn’t hurt himself or anyone else and gets the help he needs.
None of that helps how fucked we are on the defensive line right now. Obviously they aren’t the same position, but Clowney’s asking price likely just went up.
We only signed him to a 1 year deal last year, so is going to be a free agent anyway.
Obviously, we could have resigned him had this not happened, but we’re not exactly out anything by him getting arrested. It just takes a familiar name out of the free agent pool, so to speak.
