Nope. It’s Darnold. Always has been.

I 100% agree. Darnold and then Chubb. I can honestly see Fitzpatrick, as having that center fielder would allow more aggressiveness from our front seven, but Chubb is far and away the best defensive player in the draft at arguably the second most valuable position in football.

No way do we not take Darnold #1.

If it were legal I’d bet a kid that we aren’t drafting Darnold. I’d even give you the oldest, he’s a worker.

Your ability to be wrong is second to none.

It’s legal to bet kids. That’s how Joon ended up with Benny

All I can say to you, Shooter, is this. My late father, who with my late mother raised seven children in our home, once said: “You know . . . I wouldn’t trade away any one of you kids, not even for a million dollars . . . but I wouldn’t give two cents to have another one.” That, my friends, was a man who knew his own limitations.

Guys . . . we all have our own ideas about the Browns and whom we think that they should pick and where. It makes for interesting conversation to say the least. But, deep down inside, we all want the same thing. We all want the Browns to get it right and not blow it. We want a WINNER . . . not just another chapter in the never ending story of the greatest fiasco in NFL history. We want NFL fans to say, “WOW . . . it looks like Jimmy Haslam finally got it right.” We want them to say, “The Browns look like they’re building a dynasty . . . you know . . . like they had back in the days of Paul Brown.” We want them to say, “We’ve got our hands full . . . the Browns are coming to town this week.”

Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

If it does wind up being Mayfield, I’m not mad about it. I really won’t be upset unless it’s Rosen, whom I see being too “safe” a pick, in terms of limited upside.

I’m ok with Darnold or Mayfield. Both really strong players in very different ways
