soupParticipantThis is far and away the best explanation of the McCown/Cowboys trade rumors. Goes into great detail:

IceKeymasterWhy Soup? That right there is almost a bannable offense. You keep your Madonna fetish to yourself.

Oh come on Papa…..don’t preach, you love Madonna too.
As far as a football take here, I think we have to keep McCown. We just let Davis go, so it’s RG3, McCown, and a rookie on the roster. RG3 is balsa wood strong, and when he goes down, which he will, throwing a rookie out there isn’t really a good backup plan.
Then again maybe it is. I don’t know.

the dudeParticipantfuck my life.
honestly, we need to hold on to mccown….rg3, coleman, pryor and gordon are just one friday night away from getting suspended….baylor guys and a guy who couldn’t stay out of trouble in college…..i wouldn’t be surprised if these guys get in trouble.
Hue Jackson is a loser.

IceKeymasterApparently the Browns staff has rated Josh’s value to the organization extremely highly. We’re asking for a high round pick in trade. So far no one is offering, and that’s just fine by me. Perhaps Sashi looked at the past 10 or so seasons trying to find one where the QB who started the season finished the season…

ShooterModeratorAgreed.
RG3 is an injury prone running QB. He’s going to go down this year. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when, and for how long. I’m very comfortable and happy with McCown.

ParticipantI know Hue isn’t in charge of personnel per se, but you have to think he remembers how valuable a QB is from the Campbell/Palmer situation in Oakland.
No reason to get rid of McCown now, when his value will only go up with every QB injury during the regular season.
