Okay, I'll do it. Can the Browns trade for Nick Foles?

Why? If he was that good he would be starting over Carlos Wentz from beginning of season.

We literally saw what it is like to have a good running game with receivers who catch the ball and don’t give up after their route is complete.

Watch a few plays of the eagles and how guys keep running.

Watching the loser Hue Jackson’s great offense and how receivers quit after their route isn’t open.

Difference between being a super caliber team and a team full of losers coached by the biggest loser of them all…. Hue 0-16 Jackson. Laughing stock of the nfl.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

I think that has to in the back of every Browns fans mind at the moment.

IMO, no. The main reason is because he’s going to be expensive to trade for. Like, We’ll OPEN the bidding at a 1 and a 2, expensive. Secondly, why hasn’t he been great outside of philly? I mean, they let him go once. He was in a mix of QBs that were terrible for the Rams. What gives? Do we blame all of that on Jeff Fisher? Third: he made some great throws, can’t take that away. But did you see how open some of his receivers have been? Like, DII college football open. A lot of qbs would look good in those circumstances. Not Kizer, but still.

But the main reason is this: we’re going to be drafting a qb at 1. No doubt in my mind. Trading for Foles is not a move for a stopgap qb, so if you get Foles, no QB at 1. Pass on that.

I’d rather take my chances on the first overall pick and signing a vet to start in the meantime.

    It’s tempting, but Pass.

Philly won’t do it. What if Carson doesn’t heal right or in time? They’d be foolish to trade him

I’ve always liked Foles. But after last night, his asking price will be way too high. Great backup, currently playing with great receivers. Gotta say no.

I don’t think Jeff Bridges could talk him off of that ledge. I know I’m not gonna try.

I can’t even read his posts anymore. They’re all irrational, nonsensical drivel mixed with incorrect facts and littered with with the word “loser” 10-15 times per ridiculous paragraph.

It’s best to just move on for a while, wow.

Agreed. And if they did, like Dawg E. Dawg says, the price would be exorbitant.

Secondly, why hasn’t he been great outside of philly? Do we blame all of that on Jeff Fisher?

In a word, yes. Jeff Fisher is a pretty terrible coach. Especially when it comes to getting good QB play.

Case Keenum under Fisher: “yeah this guy stinks, time to bench him no doubt”. Case Keenum in Minnesota: Breakout season, NFC Championship game.

Jared Goff under Fisher: “Wow this kid looks like a bust. I think the Rams Ryan Leafed this pick”. Jared Goff after Fisher: Breakout year, playoffs.

Nick Foles in Philly: 15-9, 46 TD’s, 17 INT’s, Pro-Bowl selection and playoff berth. Under Jeff Fisher: “Wow, what a 1-hit wonder Foles was. Terrible signing by the Rams, it’s time to bench this scrub”. After Jeff Fisher: Super Bowl MVP.

There’s a common denominator in all 3 of those guys’ performance. (hint: it’s Jeff fucking Fisher lol).

I have complained about Browns head coaches and to be frank, never like RAC and wished a couple of times he was canned.

I hate the Loser Hue Jackson. FUCKING ZERO AND SIXTEEN AND HE KEEPS HIS FUCKING JOB. Browns are the worst organization in professional sports history.

Every person I know asks me the same thing….. How can they keep a loser like Loser Hue Jackson after he doesn’t do his job and at least win one game. FUCKING LOSER.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

@dude what a short memory you have. It wasn’t even 9 months ago that Hue won the Preseason Championship!

If the Browns were able to acquire Nick Foles, they’d still need to draft a QB with the first overall pick. You also have to consider what would be the price in terms of draft picks or players. There are certainly a lot worse options out there, but I don’t know. Depending on what picks are involved, I’d probably be okay with it. In all honesty, I think the Browns are biding their time while waiting on the free agent ruling regarding AJ McCarron, but that’s just me.

Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

Can’t really do much until the season starts anyway. While Alex Smith is being traded to the Redskins, nothing is official until the off season technically starts.

Price would be way to high in terms of picks plus what he’d demand in salary, no need to mortage the future.
