Whats the over under that there is gonna be a season with the chinese virus pandemic? I have no clue……

So IMO if there isn’t a contract year of 2020 would. 2020’s contract year would roll over into 2021 as players would not get game checks with no season to play. ROster bonus and workout bones would be another head ache to manage as well.

Also in 2021 there is a new TV deal to be negotiated with a likely salary cap rise in there as well. So players will want to be positioned for that IMO.

On management side I am fine with prove it one year deals that may net you comp picks if they don’t work out. That whole calculation is straight moneyball to me.

It says in their contract that if they aren’t available for 10 games (IIRC) that their contract will not toll.

I don’t even want to think about this virus lasting long enough to jeopardize football.

Me ether….but when signing and or offering a contract responsible partys should. Hence singing bonuses to get them thru this year if there isn’t a season. Hope for the best but prepare for the suck.

Oh and welcome to the suck 🙁
