One thing I do know is that the guy that ‘draft experts’ think is the best QB in early January is almost never the QB that gets drafted first.

Manziel was just a lazy comparison because he was drafted by the Browns and most people here are familiar with him, for better or worse. I think a more accurate comparison is Russell Wilson. I’m working on a game film analysis for him. Reserve your judgement and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Mahomes II has NFL talent, but coming out of the Air Raid (like Manziel did) he’s going to need some polish. QB whisperers like Hue and Pep should have no issues helping him develop (he is actually starting his own pre-draft training tomorrow in San Diego).
