Thought I’d take a sec to go over some of the AFC playoff possibilities for the final 3 weeks.
For the Browns, 2 wins should get us in, hopefully we can win out and retain the #5 seed. Getting the AFC south champ in week 1 would be >>>>> than playing Bills or Steelers. Seeding wise (not necessarily to MAKE the playoffs) Sunday’s game against the giants is a must win. Won’t be easy because NYG will be desperate.
Looking at the playoff landscape, the Colts and Titans have huge implications. The Colts have Texans, Steelers, Jags left, while the Titans have Lions, Packers, Texans. Currently, the Colts have the tie breaker.
This is a crucial race because the Titans own the tiebreaker over the Ravens, but the Ravens own the tiebreaker over the Colts. So, if the Colts win the division and the Titans go 2-1, the Titans would stay ahead of the Ravens in the wildcard seeding.
Personally, I’d love to go 3-0 and force the Ravens-Steelers to play week one and knock one of them out. Though, that ALSO depends on the Bills, because if we beat the Steelers, the Bills would then take the 2 seed if they win out, via their win over PIT on Sunday.
Now, if the Steelers lose to the Colts in week 16 AND we beat them in 17, they could fall all the way to the 4th seed, and we could be playing them In the first round.
Lots of moving parts to think about, but it looks to me like The PIT-IND game in week 16 will have huge implications, and depend, Bills-Dolphins and Steelers-Browns could be massive week 17 matchups.

You’re assuming we are going to go minimum 10-6 (which may not be enough to make it). We just allowed Baltimore to leap frog us as they will go 11-5. (Jax, NYG, Bengals). Raiders have Chargers, Dolphins and Denver. They can leap frog us. We put ourselves in a bad position. The fact the Jets still haven’t won makes us a prime target to lose to them. Odds of them going 0-16 are slim. It’s happened only 3 times in NFL history.

We have over a 90% chance of making the playoffs. Odds are not “stacked against us.” That is absolutely, unequivicolly wrong. We are in the driver seat and will be favored in at least 2 out of the next 3 games.
We just allowed Baltimore to leap frog us as they will go 11-5. (Jax, NYG, Bengals).
I can’t count Browns future wins, but you can count Ravens future wins? The fuck is that? What back asswords logic are you using that says that after the Ravens and Browns went toe to toe, the Giants are sure to beat the Browns, and the Ravens are sure to beat the Giants? Do you see how ridiculously flawed your thinking is?
And, they have not leap frogged us. Check the standings. We are 9-4. They are 8-5.
Raiders have Chargers, Dolphins and Denver. They can leap frog us. We put ourselves in a bad position.
Again, you cannot give them wins while refusing to give the Browns wins. They’re 7-6 with 2 division games and a tough game against the Dolphiins left. And we’re 1.5 games up, since they have the tie breaker. We’re in a good position with the Raiders.
The fact the Jets still haven’t won makes us a prime target to lose to them. Odds of them going 0-16 are slim. It’s happened only 3 times in NFL history.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. While the Browns could lose to the Jets, this is quite possibly the worst take I’ve ever seen. You are serioulsy equating the odds of a team going 0-16 with the odds the Jets beat the Browns in Week 16. Do you know how flawed that is? With that logic, you would say if the Cheifs were 15-0, and they played an 0-15 Jets team in weekd 17, “Only 2 teams in NFL history have gone undefeated in the regular season, and only 3 teams have gone winless, so the 0-15 Jets WILL beat the 16-0 Cheifs” Do you see how insanely wrong that is?

I predict the finish 11-5 and win their division.Colts play Texans at Steelers and Jaguars
I predict they finish 11-5 and fight for a wildcardDolphins play Patriots, at Raiders and at Bills
They have the hardest remaining schedule. Still could finish 11-5 (don’t see them beating the Bills).Ravens play Jaguars, at Giants and at Bengals.
They are likely to win all 3 games to finish 11-5.Browns play at Giants, at Jets and Steelers.
My prediction is we finish 11-5.Tiebreakers are coming into play to determine playoff seedings since multiple teams will definitely finish with the same record.
Odds are 5 teams won’t finish with 11-5 records but it is possible.
We just need to take care of our own business and not worry about what ifs.
