Just like when Jim Tressel was Buckeye HC, ownership wanted to lure them to the north coast….
Even when there was a glimmer of shine to the original Browns, Modell could never get a top college coach (Ara Parseghian, and just like JT and UM raised in northeast ohio) to go to the dark side.
Blanton Collier jumped from Kentucky to replace Paul Brown, but he was on PB’s coaching staff for years before taking over his dream job the wildcats.
This franchise is such a hot mess at the top, I dont know how it will ever get fixed. This is worse then Ted Stepiens Cavs that the NBA stepped in to monitor decisions for their own protection!
