Did you guys see it!?! I couldn’t get it where I live so I only watched the highlights.

There were a LOT of highlights!

Our offense looks STACKED. Baker took 1 incompletion to get dialed in and then was on point. 13 yards per play. Chunks. I’m having trouble containing my excitement and typing in English. And that was without Odell and Landry.

Defense was en fuego except for a couple screw ups (which will get fixed). Handing out interceptions like Oprah hands out gift bags.

Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi, our own version of Rudy except he’s good at football!!! If this doesn’t get you pumped it’s because you’re already dead.

I just watched the highlights on NFL.com. Watch them. Defensive major standout:

Everytime a ball hit the ground a Browns player was immediately there to pick it up. On Mack Wilson’s pick 6 the ball is stripped just over the goal line, another defensive player punced on it before it left the endzone.

Fumbles by the Redskins – same thing – people pouncing.

    The bad:

Sloppy fumbles by the offense – worst of which was Hilliard on the goal line on 4th down. That’s bad because he’s our new back up.

The shocking: David Blough. While it’s just highlights, he made 2 insanely accurate throws on back shoulders. Look out Baker – you’re in trouble! (Sorry, Browns pre-season, we have to manufacture some pointless QB thing don’t we?)

I was astounded with the difference between snap to pass from Baker to the other guys. Baker looks like Tom Brady and the other guys look like Charlie Frye. On those 3 step drops it is ALWAYS step-step-step-FIRE. He trusts his WR’s to catch it.

If Sheehy-Guiseppi makes the team, is he the best story in the league this year?

I agree with this entire paragraph. And yes, kid has one hell of a tale, don’t he? I’d love to see him signed. As a returner…he doesn’t suck. Made 2 catches last night as well.

Still, this is a crowded WR room. Numbers may send him packing, as much as I’d like to see him stay.

Calloway is making room for the return man to make it IMO.

OBJ Landry Higgins Strong Willies & Sheehy-Guiseppi to start the season while Callowy is out for 4 games

In a nutshell 1. baker looked sharp and crisp, the WR cuts will be hard Strong and Willies look to be 5 and 6 if we even keep 6 maybe with Calloway’s suspension we can sneek Sheehy onto the 53 that kids got wheels, the RB situation is okay the only problem i saw with Hillard was his pass blocking the kid could get Baker killed. the O-Line looked good and not much action for the TE’s
    2. now for the defense even though the starter’s mostly sat out i could see Garrett was even more explosive than last season, the back up d-lineman Coley and Thomas played well and Devaroe Lawrence had a big sack. As for the linebackers well it was all Mack Wilson and Sione Takitaki both were all over making plays, the CB’s palyed well but the star was of course Greedy Williams he started opposite Terrance Mitchell and came uo with an int and well he tackled as well as a matter of fact his tacleing looked downright text book. not much to say about the safties I really didn’t hear their names called out.
    3. Now for the special teams the punters did okay it’s clear that the Scottish Hammer has the leg but it’s still collquite’s job to loose, the place kicking still seems close I guess Josheph holds on but missing an extra point didn’t help his case.

According to the Browns they told the Redskins and refs they were going to come out in the 2 minute drill prior to the game. And still walked down the field. Love the coaches did this so they could practice it without it being a surprise
