Love Kirksey as when he was on the field. But he just hasn’t been on the field that much.

Frequent, random injuries don’t worry me, some guys just have bad luck for a few years. I don’t think any of his are recurring or overly serious.

Bringing in a veteran wouldn’t be bad at all. It will help with whatever rookie linebacker we bring in.

He’s not an upgrade. Move in from the past. We need speed at LBer and guys who play with instinct.

Regardless of speed, he would definitely be an upgrade at LB. Do you realize how pathetic the linebackers were? Our best LB against the run was Takitaki and that tells you all you need to konw. While we might not bring Kirksey back, I would say we will be bringing in a veteran LB.

Assuming this is directed at me. Kirksey isn’t an upgrade. That’s a fact. LBer is the position we need most in the team by far and it needs speed and instinct to play right. If Tampa messes up somehow and Lavonte David hits the market, he should be priority #1. Kirksey brings in more of the same
