IceKeymasterI guess we’ll get Horton. Huge upgrade from O’neil, but he’s gonna want some different personnel. Also with Jackson calling offensive plays Horton is going to be all alone on an island. The buck really will stop with him.

IceKeymasterAnd just that quickly Horton has come out and denied that piece to do some damage control
“The notion that Horton is insulted came not from Horton but from Fritz Pollard Alliance chairman John Wooten, who seems to be doing plenty of misguided agitating to get coaches released from their contractual obligations. As evidenced by Horton’s remarks, Wooten’s efforts may be neither helpful, welcome, nor accurate.”
Couldn’t agree more with that statement. Wooten is poisoning his own well by putting words in coaches mouths, especially words that damaging. At this point the Fritz-Pollard Alliance is doing much more harm than good.January 17, 2016 at 6:06 pm #3872

IceKeymasterThe article wasn’t the problem, clearly Wooten is vastly overstepping his bounds. Publicly.

IceKeymasterBecause of the blunder, not only is Horton NOT talking about coming to the Browns, he’s now talking about a contract extension with the Titans.
