I think Hue Jackson saying “let’s be honest, we’re the Cleveland Browns and we don’t have a franchise QB” doesn’t just tip the hand but flat-out lays the cards face up on the table.

What we do or don’t do with RG3 means dick. Everyone who even casually watches football damn well knows that we’re gonna take a QB at 12, sign one in FA, or both.

Honestly didn’t know he said that. I think he’ll be kept as insurance since these guys don’t seem bent on reaching just because

In an interview at the combine. He all but confirmed that we’re taking a QB in round 1.

They asked him about having a franchise QB while discussing the prospects at the combine and his word-for-word quote was “let’s be honest, we’re the Cleveland Browns, we don’t have him”.
