KeymasterWould you grab him now and assume his contract or wait until he hits waivers? I wouldn’t trade a wooden nickel for him and I wouldn’t pay him anything but vet minimum with no guarantees. In other words, I wouldn’t offer him enough to lure him here. The Bills or Jets would pay more.

ParticipantWithout a doubt . . . if a play is made for Griffin, it’ll be after he’s cut. Nobody in their right mind will want to guarantee him $12 million for 2016 if he gets injured this season. Then again, this is Cleveland. Enough said.
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

ParticipantOnce he’s cut, he can compete with Manziel to be our #2. Whatever is going on with him right now, he’s not right. Conversely, both Griffin and Manziel have some similar skill sets which would make the OC’s job easier than having a mobile QB and a strictly pocket passer.

KeymasterI’m against it at this point. His ego is as big as Manziel’s last year and Washington players are lining up to say they’re thrilled he’s not the starter. Some how he’s become a locker room disaster. No thanks.

ParticipantDidn’t know about the off-field stuff. Changing my opinion to “no way in hell”.
