Big news the Browns activated TE David Njoku off of the IR list also they promoted WR Taywan Taylor to the active roster.

Same. Dude runs crisp routes and has great hands.
He’s the only remnant of our 2016 draft class, and that was two GM’s ago. So I’m assuming there in lies the reason, unfortunately.
And the slow, mysterious descent of Higgins continues.
Higgins is on the active roster just like this guy. They needed a Hodge replacement. Sunday inactives will be the tell. Maybe Higgins is bad at special teams?

If you look up DPJ run blocking on film or PFF grade you will see why. Both he Hodge run block better than Higgans in a run HEAVY offense where the the 3rd WR gets thrown the ball just a bit more than the FB.
BTW I mentioned to Ice during the game DPJ was flat out pan caking DB’s. I thgen found out his SPARQ score is is top 1%. Said SPARQ score doesn’t have alot to do with route running and catch as a WR of course, but leg drive and blocking power there is a direct coorellation there.
Bottom line DPJ is the defacto return man thus far, and an asset in the run game. SO unless thge Browns abandon the run and air it out Higgins is going be playing left bench for a bit in my opinion.
