ParticipantShe’s a hack. You need to be patient, can’t judge all the rookies after 11 games, and she doesn’t mention Nassib at all. She gives Kessler a little credit, but doesn’t acknowledge that they never planned for him to play this year. She also faults the Browns for passing on Prescott, but doesn’t mention Cook. He’s the one everybody actually thought the Browns should take, not Prescott.
Also, she uses Hues quote about Brown leaning on him too much to show Browns inexperience, but later claims the front office isn’t giving Hue what he wants. Huh??
Also, her entire article makes it sound like perfect GM candidates are all over the place and lining up to join the Browns. Not the case.
Overall, junk article, IMO.

soupParticipant100% disagree with every point in this article. To call a draft “bad” because so far it only shows 2 potential stars shows that she knows absolutely nothing about the sport whatsoever.
To say “Gabriel is starting for the Falcon’s” is about as stupid if a statement in NFL history that you can make. In 11 games he has 21 catches. Really? That’s a sign the current guys don’t know what they are doing? Also, what relevance do past drafts have in this article? Ray Farmer was our GM. He chose Gilbert by meeting him 3 days before the draft. Yeah . GMs solve everything. Phil Savage came under Newsome. Hiwd that work out?
And I’m sick and fucking tired of hearing about Wentz, the 31st QB in the NFL the past 8 games and 30th rated total QBR in the NFL overall. Only 2 worse are Fitzpatrick and Keenum.
Prescott has 3 1st round picks on the oline with a pro bowl WR and HOF TE. Not to mention the leading rusher in the NFL.
Mary Kay clearly doesn’t understand development and doesn’t understand we need to leave things the fuck alone for 5 years for the first time since our return.

Anytime I see or hear someone talking about Wentz, I imagine you like Michael Douglas in Falling Down.

If the guy was even 20th in the league I could see the anger. It’s clear to me these people have never seen him past game 1.

I imagine more of a Peter Dinklage “Elf” scene. “Are you feeling big my friend? Call me an elf, one more time.”

soupParticipantTo add to her stupidity the PD did a slideshow of all the guys who left. With the exception of Mack, which these guys had no power to stop, the front office got it right. Schwartz us rated the 30th tacle in the NFL and he wanted paid like a #1.

the dudeParticipantClassic….excellent shoot/DPD
Personally, I would like to agree that I like management who work hard through the ranks and not just appointed because they are someones guy from another organization. This team definitely is missing some structure.
Judging this rookie class right now is something you can do, but to say it is a failure is wrong on so many levels. This team is winless – the veterans on this team are a left tackle, a washed up qb, and a wr who used to play qb. On the other hand, there is no way to give these guys a high rating either…Coaching has been as pitiful as play on the field.
Hue Jackson is a loser.

DawgPoundDudeParticipantNo sir. This is one of the greatest lines in any movie, any where.
And here’s a 10-minute loop of it. Enjoy!
