Pettine admitted he was engaging in some gamesmanship with the quarterback announcement.
“I won’t say I don’t know,” he said.
He said he hasn’t even told the quarterbacks yet, and insisted it does make a difference to keep the opponent in the dark.
“Let’s just say you’re going against a guy that could potentially scramble and you’re going to have calls up that,” said Pettine. “Now, you can force a defense, the mindset to dovetail a little bit – ‘Here’s Plan A. Here’s Plan B’ – without saying it’s definitely going to be this.”
That strategy is mangenious!
Why is it that every time I’m just about to get in Pettine’s corner and go, “ya know what man, I’m with ya, people give you alotta shit but I see what you’re doing here and ya know what, fuck them” He looks at me and says “Hey dude, ya ever had aaaaaa dick soda”?
Why?
Every time.
I mean I have no choice really, I’ve tried my best but…..I guess I’m done with this idiot too now.
