I mentioned it awhile ago – it became offical on February 17! Say hello to my son Clay! After 2 years of fostering him it’s official!!! Being I’m no longer on facebook I grabbed this off my wife’s – otherwise you’d see him in a Browns shirt!

Congrats Soup! That’s probably the greatest thing one can ever do!

To be honest I’m kinda shocked they’d allow a child to be adopted, knowing their new father would willingly make them a Browns fan.

Congrats Soup! Now teach him how to throw a football. We’ll still need a QB when he gets old enough.

Living in Pittsburgh – I texted a picture of him in a Brwns shirt to a friend I work with – he threatened to call the authorities for child abuse

Once he can hold one – he’s got a cannon for an arm. It’s insane. My wife read that around the age of 3 they shuold start throwing over hand. I’ve had him doing it since he was a year old.

I have to ask, as a father and a Browns fan, would you be happy if he was the QB for the Browns or would you be too worried about his health?

    818 mph. 13,723 feet. 3 second burn.

Assuming you’re being serious I’d be both ecstatic and scared. My goal as a father is to guide him to being his own man capable of making smart decisions. By smart I mean having weighed the outcomes before making the decision. Personal responsibility. As a father once he hits a certain age (even now at a little over 2-as long as consequence isn’t severe injury potential) it’s his job to learn and make his own path.

To clarify him doing that at 2, I mean if he’s going to lick the cat I’m going to let him learn that’s bad by himself. If he goes near a hot stove I’m grabbing him and not letting him learn the hard way.

    Great work Soup and congrats!!

Even though you have a poor record on football speculation and qb predictions, you definitely make the world a better place outside of the game 🙂

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

my step daughters both had babies this last year july and Dec respectively . Little Xavier and Kenny respectfully. As tomorrow is my 41st birthday…makes me one of the youngest grandpa;a around.

Or as Waylan Jennings once sang: The world’s youngest dirty old man.

    Congrats Soup
