Anyone in favor of this?
Ian Rapoport says we’re interested. Ian Rapoport is currently full of feces. No one is going to trade for him. His contract pays him over $11 mil. No one on the face of the Earth is going to trade for that contract. This ‘rumor’ came straight from Kaepernick’s agent.
February 28, 2016 at 1:16 pm #4278DawgSoldierParticipantHELL NO.

February 28, 2016 at 2:43 pm #4279DawgPoundDudeParticipantNope. Not only wouldn’t it want him, looks like the Browns are in agreement.

It ain’t happening…and it would probably be a disaster if it did.
February 29, 2016 at 12:22 pm #4284soupParticipantYeah – that would be AWESOME! Another head case with no ability to throw the ball – just what we need! No way Hue Jackson has any interest

February 29, 2016 at 5:03 pm #4289MavParticipantYou will not see me on this board until he’s gone.
March 1, 2016 at 11:51 am #4292ShooterModeratorShitty QB’s do not make shitty teams better.
March 1, 2016 at 9:47 pm #4303MavParticipantWhat this man said?
March 2, 2016 at 7:15 am #4304BillWunkleParticipantUm . . . NO!
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!
March 2, 2016 at 11:50 am #4308soupParticipantThis thread title should be changed to:
“The first thing in history every board member agrees with: Colin Kapernack better not become a Brown!”

March 10, 2016 at 12:11 pm #4395DawgPoundDudeParticipantAccording to reports, this very well might happen.
Let’s see what happens 2 years from now. One has to wonder why we’re still fans.
March 10, 2016 at 12:25 pm #4397soupParticipantThis better be a ploy by SF to try and drive up Denver’s offer.

The Cleveland Browns are a David Blaine endurance stunt. Nothing is actually accomplished, while it’s happening everyone is looking at each other in a very confused manner and questioning the absurdity of the point, and in the end we all say at the same time, “no seriously, what the fuck was that?” and walk away questioning why we watched.
March 10, 2016 at 7:17 pm #4409the dudeParticipantits an upgrade over mccown….well, let’s just direct snap this year and bypass the qb.
Hue Jackson is a loser.
March 11, 2016 at 2:40 am #4414MavParticipantCan we just sit the year out and fast forward to next years draft?
March 11, 2016 at 9:43 am #4415DawgPoundDudeParticipantGuess it’s being reported that he wants to play here. And he has several years on his deal…we trade for him, we get his contract.
Get that fast forward button ready, Mav…God help us all.
March 11, 2016 at 10:03 am #4416IceKeymasterNo one will trade for that contract. If he was willing to sign a completely incentivized contract with no guarantees, I’d trade him straight up for Manziel.

Let’s just trade for Dawson.
I don’t think Kaepernick is good, but it would be better than what we currently have on our roster. Maybe they could work out like a 3 year deal at a discounted rate or something. He lacks brains, but he could have some potential. IDK at this point.
Hue Jackson is a loser.
March 11, 2016 at 1:35 pm #4426IceKeymasterI don’t think Kaepernick could beat out McCown. Not even close.
March 11, 2016 at 3:40 pm #4427ShooterModeratorMike Silver is reporting that the Browns and 49ers have agreed to draft compensation, the hold up is negotiations with Kaps agent about the restructuring of his deal.
This is the dumbest goddamn move I could possibly think of. Unless the deal gets restructured to vet minimum, and the pick is 1 2019 7th rounder, I hate it.
And Ice, I completely agree, he couldn’t.
What a total waste of time, my God Browns get it to-fucking-gether here.
March 12, 2016 at 9:32 am #4430DawgPoundDudeParticipantWhat a total waste of time, my God Browns get it to-fucking-gether here.
This kind of is their idea of doing just that…getting it together. Think of it more as a “goodwill gesture” from the front office to Hue, because make no mistake, Kaepernick is his boy. So take that as you will.
And the compensation will be this year’s 3rd (essentially a late 2nd), and they are trying to get the structure between 7-8 mil.
Remember when we about deep-ended when we got McCown last year? I know, look where it ended up but…it certainly wasn’t because of him.
March 14, 2016 at 2:19 pm #4441IceKeymasterKaepernick apparently doesn’t want to come to Cleveland. That’s good because the feeling is mutual.
