I’m on board with sitting Baker. All you guys who think we threw Couch to the wolves suddenly want to do it again to Baker?? He needs to sit as long as we can afford to sit him.
Unfortunately Tyrod played so poorly that we may not be able to sit Baker much longer.
I will agree that Tyrod Taylor is everything we were all told he was when he got here: below average. So timid and just afraid to throw the football. Holds onto it forever. Bland. Boring. Predictable. Mundane. No fire.
It makes it hard to root for him when he just refuses to make a play.
Agreed with Ice, you sit Baker until the team is out of the playoff chase. Baker will be fine sitting. Just ask the Chargers if sitting has hurt Mahomes.
He can no longer be called “Loser Hue”. You can call him “Non-winning Hue” or something along those lines, but he didn’t lose this week.
I stated he will be called Loser Hue until the Loser wins a game. A tie does not change his Loser title.
Mayfield needs to play. Tomorrow. Taylor is absolute garbage. He did nothing to show he should be an NFL starter.

Anyone watch the last half of the Lions game last night? The Lions were in the middle of getting blown out by the Jets. In the 4th quarter there was visibly zero effort from some Lions players, yet they stayed in the game.
Last season with nothing to play for our team fought hard to the end of every single game. Even in week 17 when it was clear we were going to make history as the worst team ever, Hue had our guys playing hard. The Lions couldn’t fight through 4 quarters. Players that were loafing kept getting put back on the field. THAT’S BAD COACHING.
As for Tyrod I offer one stat:
Completion percentage when NOT under pressure:
Aaron Rodgers: Above 80%
Tyrod Taylor: Under 45%Seriously with the knee jerk reactions.
Yesterday, Tyrod’s completion percentage was 37.5%. That is the FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER he completed less than 50% of his passes in a game (except for a couple games with the Ravens where he came in for mop up duty and attempted < 5 passes).
Objectivly, that’s that worse performance we can expect from him this season. Probably for his career with us.
Does anybody understand the concept of a statistical outlier?
