Playoff Clinching Scenarios

The Browns can not clinch a playoff spot this week but can help themselves with a win vs the Ravens.

The week couldn’t have went much better. Now, the Browns just need to take care of business against the Rats.

The good news win or lose Monday night the Browns will still hold the number 5 slot due to the head to head with the Colts, with three games to play the colts have games with Houston at Pittsburgh then home with Jax.
The Raiders loss drops them to 7 and 6 with games against the Chargers, fins and finishing at Denver.
the Fins Stand at 8 and 5 with New England at home before going on the road to Las Vegas and Buffalo to finish their season.
The Titans have games with Detroit, then two on the road against Green Bay and Houston.
Baltimore after Mondays tilt with the Browns have Jax and the Giants at home before going on the road to finish with the Bengals.

Tonight is a must win game. Division, conference and a team vying for the playoffs. With the Steelers loss a win tonight puts us 1 game behind them. We win the next 3 and they lose just 1 of the next 2, which is now possible as they’ve been playing awful- and we have a shot at the division

Yes it is. We need to win. Don’t want a 2007 repeat of relying on other people to win for us. The table is set NOW. With the way the Steelers are playing they may lose to Indy. Assuming they trounce Cincy this weekend – that sets up a shot at t he division. Until we, at the very least, clinch a playoff birth then each game is a must win. No need for a repeat of 2007 relying on others in week 17
