I’m not nearly as gloom and doom. I get it, you’re pissed we lost to the Steelers second string. It hurts. Here’s the thing, we’re hamstrung by the current roster. Luckily we have a ton of high picks in 2017 and a ton of cap space.

    I agree about Pryor.

I agree (for the most part) about Collins (though I think his second year in our defense will benefit him greatly).

I expect something dumb with our 2nd 1st round pick like a CB taken. I expect our 2nd round picks to be wasted on something dumb like more WR and corners.

Given our lack of pass defense, I fail to see why this dumb. It’s easier to find quality linemen in the middle rounds than skill players.

I’m looking forward to the second year of this rebuild. We still have 2 more years of this. Ground up rebuilds don’t happen overnight. We’ve hit rock bottom. This is what needed to happen. We get a generational talent in Garrett and a completely new identity with an influx of talent next year.

Because if we still run a 3-4 safety is the most important position after NT. Safety is our most glaring weakness so it won’t be addressed. Instead we’ll waste it on corners where it won’t help. That’s why corner is a waste.

Doesn’t matter anyway, the new regime will take a QB no matter what #1 overall. We aren’t touching defense with that pick

I fully expect Sashi BRown and company – including Hue Jackson – to be fired.

Haslam came out after the game an spoke to reporters. He said the season is entirely his fault. Also said no one is going anywhere, and that stability is what is needed.

    So, that ends that.

This could be a huge draft for us. Myles Garrett at #1 and Safeties Jabril Peppers, Jamal Adams or Malik Hooker are real possibilities at #12. I think there’s a very real possibility that Trubisky and Kizer go to QB needy clubs like San Francisco, Chicago, and the Jets while Leonard Fournette and Dalvin Cook could also find homes with the Jaguars, Jets and Panthers.

I think we can take a quality WR like Corey Davis or Juju Smith-Schuster at the top of the second, and if he declares (and I really, really hope he does) Patrick Mahomes II in the middle of the second. A draft like this would easily make us a 5 win team in 2017 and a wildcard contender in 2018.

I expect this to be Soup’s reaction to every move the Browns make this offseason:

Seriously, though. Garrett #1, and don’t even think about it. A safety at 12 would be stellar. Get a veteran safety as a compliment, and a veteran center to stabilize the o-line. Take a couple QBs in the mid rounds. I’ll be happy.

MDP just won the internet! That is friggin sweet! It was hillarious in game and even funnier when applied to Soup!

We need that clip cut down to just a couple seconds of the screaming hissy fit.

So far the offseason has not met Soup’s expectations.
