Why Kevin Stefanski Might Be the NFL’s Next Great Offensive Coach
This really stuck out to me.
Halfway through the 2019 NFL season, Stefanski’s offense ranks first in the NFL in percentage of plays with 21 personnel (two WRs, a tight end and two backs, typically a halfback and fullback), first in percentage of plays with 22 personnel (one WR, two tight ends and two backs) and last in the NFL (by a fair margin) in percentage of plays with 11 personnel (three WRs, one tight end and one back).
I believe this will take a lot of pressure of Baker.
This puts a little less emphasis on the Wide Receivers and makes me wonder if we are going to continue to have 2 highly paid receivers on the team.March 19, 2020 at 12:23 pm #18573IceKeymasterSoup has already declared the offense a disaster, so this article must be wrong.
From what I understand, our 2nd TE will be on the field more than our 3rd WR. With zone blocking and a fullback Baker should be MUCH more protected than he was last year.
Honestly Soup if you were to design an offense yourself this is what it would look like. Am I correct that your only problem with it is who is calling plays?

March 19, 2020 at 1:15 pm #18578ShooterModeratorWho gives a shit whose offense it is? It could be Pop Warner’s fucking offense if the guy running it has it mastered and knows how to deploy it effectively. I’m looking for success, not who gets the credit.
Good God man.

Good God man. When he has success, here, sans Kubiak – I’ll gladly eat crow. Until then, Kubiak was the reason for last year. It’s what they hired him for. You won’t know if Stefanski has learned anything at all until this year.
Two years ago Kitchens was a genius with Todd Haley’s offense. Last year he made his own, whatever the fuck that was but it sure wasn’t an offense – and we saw him.
This year we will see Stefanski

To you.
March 19, 2020 at 8:27 pm #18590BrownsFan4LifeParticipantHey Soup, how can Stefanski have success here like Kubiak when Kubiak has never had success here?
In case you didn’t notice, Minnesota’s offense went from being one of the worse to one of the best under Stefanski without adding any major players.
You are as negative and biased against the Browns as Tony Grossi.

Zulgad: Job saver: Gary Kubiak quietly has been a key to the Vikings’ success
