Sooooo, the Browns put Jarvis on IR today, so he has to miss at least 3 games.
They did NOT ise the corresponding roster spot on a WR. Which, leads me to think OBJ is going to play this Sunday.
HOWEVER, preseason standout Davion Davis finished his 2 game suspension on Sunday, and then the Browns releases him. He promptly tweeted:
“I’m Baaaaackk!”
And he got a lot of crap for it because he was cut. Though, he said afterwords he was tweeting about the suspension being done. The interesting development is a couple hours ago, he tweeted:
“I’m just gonna leave this here again…I’m baaaacckk!”
I haven’t seen if the browns resigned him, or if some other team did. It could speak to OBJs availability, or it could be unrelated to OBJ.

I mean having 30 mill in roster space on the shelf is the polor opposite of money ball.

Playing for the first time on a surgically repaired ACL must be scary as fuck, though, so I get why he and the Browns have been cautious. Practice is one thing, but safeties will be going low on him right off the whistle, trying to get him mentally off his game.

Also, Davis was signed to the practice squad. While he could still be moved to the active roster before game time, I would think they would have signed him to the roster right away if they weren’t confident in OBJ.
