Participanthes got a roster bonus coming up, so it was either now or a month from now. It’s still a little surprising, but I think we all knew the Browns were going to add a QB, and McCown would be the odd man out.

ShooterModeratorI tip my cap to McCown. Just a professional through and through. Loved his effort. Loved his heart. Loved what he brought.
He sucked, but that fucker never stopped trying or giving it all he had. You have to respect that.
And that guy took a beating here. I’m not gonna feel sorry for him on that front, he can take a number and wait in a long line of guys who came before him, but he did have a few moments for us, and since that’s all we get here in C-town, I’m not gonna bag on the guy one bit.
Also, sorry we ended your little brothers career before it even had a chance to start. You guys could have been Mannings, but, you both played in Cleveland. You’re still millionaires though, so shut up.

If I met him in real life I’d buy him a beer or two. Dude is gritty as hell, too bad he didn’t have the talent that some guys take for granted.

ShooterModeratorThe only part I disagree with is the beer buying portion. So far my peak is making $38.50 an hour at Fox. He’s a millionaire. He should buy all of mine.
But I’d hang out with the dude all day though.

ParticipantThere’s a quote from him on PFT now where McCown said he wasn’t that bummed out about leaving because he knows the Browns “need the roster spots to get this thing right.”
Millionaire or not, I’d buy him as many beers as he wanted to drink.

*grumbles* $38 fucking 50…
EDIT: The Triple Pickle, remembered as soon as I hit submit lol. I knew it had something to do with “3”.
