hes got a roster bonus coming up, so it was either now or a month from now. It’s still a little surprising, but I think we all knew the Browns were going to add a QB, and McCown would be the odd man out.
I tip my cap to McCown. Just a professional through and through. Loved his effort. Loved his heart. Loved what he brought.
He sucked, but that fucker never stopped trying or giving it all he had. You have to respect that.
And that guy took a beating here. I’m not gonna feel sorry for him on that front, he can take a number and wait in a long line of guys who came before him, but he did have a few moments for us, and since that’s all we get here in C-town, I’m not gonna bag on the guy one bit.
