From one of the most beloved Browns executives, Mike Lombardi, on discussing Doug Pederson as a head coach:
““everyone knows Doug is not a head coach. He might be less qualified to coach a team than anyone I’ve ever seen in my 30+ years in the NFL.”
Man, I miss guys guys like that running our team.
I came into this thread expecting sarcasm, due to the word ‘wisdom’ being in the same sentence with Mike Lombardi.
Glad to see you didn’t disappoint, Shooter.
When did he say that? Serious question. Being Lombardi it wouldn’t surprise me if he said it a week ago, but I’m guessing it was at least a year ago.
Not gonna hunt it down too much, but here’s him eating crow because of it.
Things like this make me all warm and fuzzy.
Lombardi would probably say Loser Hue Jackson is the best coach ever.
Hue Jackson is a loser.
