ParticipantWUNKLE’S PICKS FOR WEEK SEVEN
After going 9-4 (according to my note pad) last week, my record currently stands at 42-14. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to double-digits this week. With that said, here’s this week’s edition of Wunkle’s Picks.
Seattle at San Francisco: Both teams are 2-4 thus far this season, but the 49ers’ point differential is an abysmal -60. Final score: Seahawks 24 – 49ers 20.
Buffalo at Jacksonville: Even at home the Jaguars are struggling. Final score: Bills 24 – Jaguars 16.
Minnesota at Detroit: Teddy, AP and the Vikings will show the Lions why they’re the better team. Final score: Vikings 24 – lions 10.
New Orleans at Indianapolis: The Colts are a dangerous team coming off a loss to New England. The Saints seem to be hitting their stride as well. Final score: Colts 31 – Saints 27.
Pittsburgh at Kansas City: You know things are going your way when Landry Jones is your starting QB and you still come up with a win. Final score: Steelers 20 – Chiefs 16.
Houston at Miami: The Texans have two QB’s that have started – neither of which is a legitimate NFL starting QB. Miami seems to have righted the ship after a disappointing start. Final score: Dolphins 27 – Texans 17.
New York Jets at New England: Tom Brady is still Tom Brady. Need I say more? Final score: Patriots 31 – Jets 20.
Cleveland at St. Louis: Todd Gurley has averaged well over 100 yds. rushing in the last two games. Final Score: Rams 24 – Browns 16.
Atlanta at Tennessee: Even at home the Titans have zero chance. Final score: Falcons 31 – Titans.
Tampa Bay at Washington: Both teams suck, but I’ll go with the home team. Final score: Redskins 17 – Buccaneers 13.
Oakland at San Diego: At this point, I trust Phillip Rivers more than Derek Carr. Final score: Chargers 20 – Raiders 17.
Dallas at New York Giants: Brandon Weeden is miffed that he’s not the starting. Well, that’s just too bad. It won’t matter anyway. Final score: Giants 23 – Cowboys 17.
Philadelphia at Carolina: I may regret this one, but here goes. Final score Panthers 24 – Eagles 20.
Baltimore at Arizona: The Ravens are not a good team and they’re on the road. Final score Cardinals 27 – Ravens 20 in a game that won’t be as close as the final score indicates.
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!
