what a bummer…RG3 is tough staying in like that to finish the game. was pulling for him to do well this year…

i thought (hoped) Shaw would be the QB that would take over when given the opportunity.Sort of how Brian Sipe rose to the challenge…Sipe did have a better chance with the receivers at the time, and stronger coaching. It was a much different era, stars aligned just right for Brian. To much flux and moving parts on this team. Hopefully things will stabilize now under the new regime.

Four picks in first 64 is pretty sweet!…..along with the base group they signed this year, this regime will have no excuses if they botch this rendition of the Browns

for some crazy reason when i see selection 64 my brain kicks back that this is the 4th pick of the 5th round back in the days of 12 real NFL teams……before the other 28 franchises were created for television πŸ™‚

i agree with having a area with statues leading with the main man PB, Otto, Marion and Willis. I think all should be dedicated along with Jim Brown at the same time. I also agree that it would be fitting that Jim Brown participates in this day….so I hope the committee that makes this happen does not waste time.

When the HOF started in Canton and the baseball HOF in Cooperstown, the inaugural group were the very best to play the game up to that time. It would not be awkward to christen multiple statues at once…

Who would be statue worthy later …Lou Groza for sure…Dante Lavelli? Paul Warfield? …Ozzie Newsome??? Leroy Kelly?? Gene Hickerson??

Loved Bobby Mitchell, every kid playing CYO or pee-wees in east Akron wanted #49 jersey.

oh man Ice, owning a players jersey is a sure fire way to curb that players tenure!

as much as i liked Jon Gruden here in Tampa, he always coached veteran teams. Think about the Eagles and Packers when he was an assistant and the Raiders and Bucs were ready to go when he was the HC. Everything thing he was successful with were led by strong vets..as the Bucs started to age, Chucky and his GM did not choose wisely to continue.

You can say it takes luck to stay strong year after year in the current NFL climate, but NE, Pittsburgh and Denver seem to reinvent themselves with limited amount of pain.

I think that no matter who we choose, Haslam is going to enforce that they are squeaky clean off the field and they are the hardest working dude in the locker room. I think he’s done with character risks.

    man I hope so!!

if this is a strong draft class or could get a established player, i would trade for multiple picks and get the current in house qb’s some playmakers.

I am about over the Browns. The Browns I pulled for died 20 years ago last week.

This team since 1999 is the antichrist.

read in the plain dealer web site that there is some dissension on the offense (at least 3 players) who told the reporter they feel more confident with JFF.

that is all we need this early with all the other problems.

i have been around since the Frank Ryan vs Jim Ninowski vs Milt Plum debates…but do not remember teammates coming out favoring one over another

Browns are doing their best to alienate the fan base.

The blown 3rd down opportunities by the defense and unacceptable penalties (mugging the punter when we had them backed up deep) demoralized me all afternoon, so much I could barley get into the last minute drive….
