  • After seeing what Tito and the Tribe have done thus far, it’s time for the little cowboy and the bullpen to seal the deal in Bean Town. The Red Sox are down, and it’s time for the Tribe to step on Boston’s throat and stand on it until they croak. It’s time for the Indians to finish the job. GO TRIBE!!!!!!!

  • Sashi Brown released the following statement . . .

“With the league’s decision to afford Josh the opportunity to resume his career, he will be with us for the start of training camp. At that time, we will discuss directly with Josh the direction of our team, our expectations of our players and a plan to support him on and off the fie…[Read more]

  • Without getting into the details, it’s safe to day that Isaiah Crowell came to Cleveland as an undrafted rookie free agent with an already checkered past. You would think that – after seeing his draft stock spiral uncontrollably beyond the seventh round – he’d get a freaking clue that there are consequences for the choices that you make and the…[Read more]

  • I nominate Dawson – errrrr – the Dude for quote of the week.

  • Well, I did miss on WHICH receiver they’d take . . . so I’m hardly clairvoyant. As for last year’s mock . . . Danny Shelton was pretty much a consensus pick, and we all pretty much knew that Ray Farmer didn’t value the WR position. We also pretty much knew that Alex Mack was gone with the first flight out of town because that’s what he wanted even…[Read more]

  • All righty then . . . Now that we’ve all had some time to digest all that happened in Chicago from Thursday night through all day Saturday, I figured it was only fitting to give my two-cents worth.

    DRAMA FROM […]

  • Call him a one hit wonder . . . call him a late bloomer . . . call him what you will. The bottom line is that now he’s being called a Cleveland Brown. There may be some merit to there not being a large body of work on film. Highlights can be deceiving, though. We’ll see how he does in training camp and go from there. Like all of our draft picks,…[Read more]

  • Thanks for the props, Ice.

The first night of the draft was one of the crazier ones from early on that I can remember; especially after Laremy Tunsil had his social media accounts were hacked. Once the Browns traded out of the #2 spot and pretty much told the football world that they weren’t interested in taking Carson Wentz there; I genuinely…[Read more]

    First off . . .

I was pissed because my guy, Carson Wentz, went second overall. All I could do is keep saying to myself, “THAT SHOULD’VE BEEN OUR FREAKING QUARTERBACK FOR THE NEXT FIFTEEN YEARS!!!!!!!!”

Then I saw that DeForest Buckner was still on the board after the Ratbirds took Ronnie Stanley instead of Tunsil. My mind went into panic…[Read more]

  • I think it’s a combination of things . . . for starters, he really needs to work on taking snaps from center, he also didn’t make pre-snap reads – the coaches did that from the sideline. He’s the rawest of those considered the top four at the position.

  • Would you rather trade to 13 (MIA) then to 17 (ATL) and then take Paxton Lynch? Would you rather take Christian Hackenberg at the top of the third? I know that you hate Connor Cook, but give me some alternatives, Ice. And DON’T place all your hopes and dreams on Cardale Jones – especially if you want to draft him anywhere before the fifth round.…[Read more]

  • Greetings and happy draft day, everyone! This is Bill Wunkle reporting from “The Padded Cell” on my favorite day of the entire NFL season. Within hours of posting my previous mock, Sashi Brown finalized the trade […]

  • QB1 is Paxton Lynch, QB2 is Carson Wentz & QB3 is Jared Goff. You already know which one I want & now that the Browns traded out of the #2 slot, they’re not going to get him. If we’re lucky, we’ll get Lynch at #32.

And by the way . . . I totally disagree with the arm strength comparison between Goff and Wentz . . . Wentz’s are is much stronger…[Read more]

He signed with the Redskins for insane cash money. Does that mean he’s only the latest player to fall into the Daniel Schneider funded abyss of Pro Bowl players that get paid and never make another one?

  • While I’m glad that he added the muscle mass, I’m also wondering, “What took him so freaking long to buy a pass on the clue bus?”

  • Speaking of Jamarcus Russell . . . one NFL scout uses him in comparing Cardale Jones to another QB – albeit a “poor man’s version”. If Miggy-Figgy will apply himself to learn an offense and stabilize his mechanics (because they’re all over the place from throw to throw) he could make something of himself. However, I think that the pressure to…[Read more]

  • 19-39 for 210 yards with ZERO touchdowns and 2 picks. Now THAT’S leadership all right.
