@ Dude – The Browns are going to re-address the QB position – whether via the draft, trade or free agency. Johnny is nowhere near ready for prime time, Hoyer is likely going to sign elsewhere as a backup and Connor Shaw needs to improve his arm strength and get more acclimated to the speed of the NFL game as well. If Shanahan were to stay on…[Read more]

Trestman has been with the 49ers and Raiders as OC and coached the Montreal Alouettes to multiple Grey Cup Championships. Then he returned to the NFL with the Chicago Bears before being given his walking papers there. In Cleveland, Trestman was Bernie’s QB coach under OC Lindy Infante. Trestman’s offense would be catered to the talent on the…[Read more]

1 – This team needs a LEGITIMATE starting QB or it will go NOWHERE. Brian Hoyer is a good backup in this league – likely for some team other than the Browns if Johnny Manziel remains in Cleveland.
2 – #1 and #2 WR. Josh Gordon has seen the handwriting on the wall and will be gone as soon as the Browns can get ANYTHING of value for him.

AS far as Jay Cutler is concerned . . . He couldn’t get the job done with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery as WR’s, Martellus Bennett as his starting TE and Matt Forte as his…[Read more]

If the Browns think that Johnny Manziel is the team’s future, then they are gravely mistaken. Those of you who know me from elsewhere know that I didn’t want Johnny in the first place. When the Browns traded up with Philadelphia, I was certain that it was for Teddy Bridgewater. Then when the Commissioner strolled to the podium and called Manziel’s…[Read more]
